Duncan was changing Chloe this morning, and while putting her BYU t-shirt on her he asked, "Chloe, are you going to go to BYU for college?" She immediately answered with a very confident, "Yeah!"
It was so shocking and funny, we had to try and get her to say it again. We got an even better reaction the second time!

A One Car-One Motorcycle Family
That's us! With Duncan starting a new, commission-based job, we decided to sell his car to free up some cash and find a more economical mode of transportation for him. After weeks of research, he finally found what he wanted.
This is one of Duncan's dreams come true. He got a great deal on it, and is enjoying the ride! It'll be interesting to make this transition from two cars to one car and a motorcycle, especially as the winter months approach.
On another note, I am grateful that Duncan takes riding a motorcycle seriously, and that he takes every precaution to be safe. He took the motorcycle safety course a few years ago, and has had enough experience to teach him some important safety lessons! :) Ride on, babe!

She's a Walkin'
She held out as long as she could, but Chloe finally gave in and decided to walk! It's so cute! And just in time for her to go to Nursery in two weeks. She certainly got a lot of prodding and tutoring from cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles--and it paid off! Thanks, everyone, for helping her learn.

Pioneer Weekend in Idaho
Last weekend we made a trip to Idaho to visit Duncan's family. Part of our visit included going to Rexburg to the Friday Farmer's Market. This is the first year for a farmer's market in Rexburg, and Hannah is taking advantage of the opportunity to sell her homemade wares. She sells bread and granola and has done quite well; both items have become popular among the local citizens. Way to go Hannah!
Well, since we were planning to visit that weekend, I wanted to get in on the action. Hannah was nice enough to let me mooch some space in her booth.
There's a homemade Boursin that I make that goes really well with the kind of bread Hannah makes--actually, it goes really well with just about anything. I thought that the cheese spread would sell well, but found out too late that I needed a food permit to sell it, so we bagged that idea. Nevertheless, I spent the two weeks preceding the trip to make customized greeting cards with some of my original photography; I also put together some framed prints to sell.
Unfortunately, I can't report any booming success. The stars and the planets were not aligned for me that day; I'll try not to hold it against Rexburg. It was a fun experiment anyway.
We also got to spend a couple days in Pocatello with Mamere and Papa Peterson. Chloe enjoyed splashing around in the kiddie pool. Duncan also got to go back up to Rexburg to enjoy an afternoon of fishing with Andrew.

Just Cute
Chloe was doing headstands on our bed the other day. Of course, to get her to perform for the camera, I had to do one first. I like her little squealing sounds.
