A Walk with Chloe

When the weather is nice, Chloe and I usually go outside together during Charlotte's morning nap (staying close to home, of course). This is what a typical walk with Chloe looks like.

It usually involves crossing the cul-de-sac and walking through our neighbor's yard in search of their flowers. I have tried to teach Chloe to admire, but not to pick, other people's flowers (unless they're weeds), and I think she has finally caught on...except for this one last time...and so I took pictures.


Then we round the corner of the neighbor's house and sit in front of their garage.


Then we walk up and down their front steps a few times. Chloe can go up and down all by herself!

Finally, I get to convince Chloe that instead of wandering farther from the house, we need to go back to our yard so we can stay close to Charlotte. She's learning to be ok with that.
