Yard Sale/Bake Sale

A couple weeks ago I teamed up with my neighbor to do a yard sale. And because I love to bake, I decided to hold a little bake sale too. After all, wouldn't you rather buy freshly baked cookies or muffins, than someone else's old shoes? Well, I did sell several pairs of shoes, but I sold ALL of the cookies and muffins I made. It was interesting to observe how freely people paid for the food, compared to how they haggled over a one-dollar book. It did help that we offered free samples of the baked goods. And they were good.
